Command and Conquer Levels Level Theme: Take out those SAMs Level Number: 10 Level Name: Reinforce Created By: Tsuyoshi Kihara Release Date: 4 July 1996 Map information: Small (26x23), Temperate theater. Player: GDI Difficulty: Easy-Medium Filename: REINFRCE.ZIP File contents: scg10ea.ini scg10ea.bin mission.ini savegame.500 readme.txt Level replacement ----------------- This mission replaces the 10th GDI mission. There is no real reason behind this other than that it is easier for me to mess around. Mission Description ------------------- Level 1 ------- A small Nod installation stands in the way of GDI progression in upholding peace in the countries of Europe, it must be removed from this area before proper work can begin. It is heavily defended against air assualt meaning that the SAM sites must be destroyed before reinforcement can arrive via air. Use your men accordingly to take out the SAMs and finish the base off with the reinforcements Level Description ----------------- Level 1 ------- Ok, it is quite easy as long as you have a few goes on it and you are ready for the guys when they come. It is quite tight until you have those chinnoks arriving, and it is a horror seeing your reinforcement getting hammered to pieces before unloading their cargo. Just be quick with the sniper's gun.. Usage ----- For those who don't want to bother messing around editing files, a savegame has been supplied that were taken the instant the level started. Simply copy these files (savegame.500) into your Command and Conquer directory (rename it if you don't want to lose one of your savegames). Then load that file when you start. You will not be able to restart the mission if you do this, you will have to re-load it if you need to try again. If you choose this method, you can ignore the next part. If you want something more complete, and yo want to be able to restart the level, then copy scg01ea.ini, scg01ea.bin, mission.ini, into your 'c&c' directory. I think that this will do it, if not, rename the scg01ea.bin to scg01ea.map and do it as it says in some other homemade missions. If you are a bit experianced and you want to mess around with the map, then the .bin file is the same as the .map file. Other Infos ___________ This is my first mission and I think I have done a good job on it. I used the programs; CCMAP, BaseIt, CC-Tools, Mixman, that I downloaded from the net. Anyone wanting to start their own mission making should have a look at: How to create your own Command and Conquer missions file from Han Brunger Thanks to all who have contributed to bringing these programs onto the NET.
